Sipsey
The Sipsey Wilderness in the Fall is a special place. Notes of fallen leaves and resinous pine needles carry on the crisp, autumn breeze, infusing the forest with a comforting, woodsy essence. The overall bouquet is both invigorating and calming, evoking a sense of tranquility amidst nature's seasonal transformation.
One of the last wild, free flowing rivers in Alabama, the Sipsey is truly a state treasure. It is home to one of the most intact mussel communities left in the United States.
Time spent exploring the forest and waterfalls of Bankhead National Forest in the summer — and camping in the Fall and Winter is the inspiration for this scent of fallen leaves and pine.

To celebrate and bring awareness to the amazing aquatic biodiversity of our home state of Alabama, we are proud to introduce our Alabama Rivers Collection.
The wilderness of Alabama is truly unique. In terms of overall plant and animal biodiversity Alabama ranks high. The state is fourth nationally (and first among states east of the Mississippi) in the number of total species with 6,350. But the aquatic biodiversity is where the state really shines. With more than 132,000 miles of rivers and streams, Alabama is ranked first for diversity of freshwater fishes, mussels, snails, crayfish and turtles. Many of these are endemic to Alabama, and some live only in a specific creek or watershed.
With this candle collection, we’re hoping you can be inspired to get out, explore, and enjoy the waterways and surrounding wilderness areas of our great state.
